Team & roles

Invite teammates and control what each can do. A person can belong to more than one account (for example an agency across several stores) and switch between them.

Invite a teammate#

  1. Go to Settings → Users.
  2. Click Invite, enter their email and pick a role.
  3. They get an invite; accepting adds the account to their login.

Accepting an invite#

The email comes from Sendcore <hello@sendcore.me> with the subject You've been invited to Sendcore. The button in the email says Accept invitation.

When that email already has a Sendcore login, the link opens Log in to accept. They enter the password for that same email and press Login. Sendcore adds your workspace to their login and opens it. The other workspaces stay on the login: they move between them with Switch account in the account menu.

When the email is new, the link opens Accept your invite with that email filled in. Choosing a password joins the workspace. A separate store is not created.

Once they have joined, the same link opens You've already joined and then the workspace.

On both pages they can press Continue with Google instead of a password. The invite stays attached through Google, and the Google account has to be the invited email. An email that already has a Sendcore login opens that account and its stores.

Opening the link leaves the invite valid until they join, or for 14 days. Send a new one when this one has expired, or after you press Cancel on the pending invite in Settings → Users.

Sign in with Google#

On the sign-in page (Login) and the sign-up page (Sign up) you can press Continue with Google. Email and password stay on the same page: Google is a second way in, not a replacement.

Google has to be the same email as the Sendcore account. If you already signed up with a password, Continue with Google opens that account and the stores already on it. A second, empty account is not created.

A new sign-up with Google follows the same first steps as Sign up with a password: after Google, Sendcore opens your workspace and you continue with the store setup.

Invited to a workspace? Open the invite email first (Accept invitation), then press Continue with Google on the page it opens. The invite is kept, and that workspace is added to the account. The Google account has to be the invited email.

Where Google is, and when it is not ready

Continue with Google is on sendcore.me only. The partner portal and the operator screens still use email and password. If the button says Google sign-in is not available yet. Use your email and password. the password form on the same page still works.

Roles#

  • Owner: full access, including billing. Can grant every role. Only the account owner can hand out Owner/Admin.
  • Admin: everything except billing (team, integrations, settings, campaigns, automations, forms, audience).
  • Manager: create and send campaigns, automations and forms, and manage the audience. No settings or billing.
  • Analyst: read-only access to dashboards and reports.
Need a teammate who can also handle billing? Invite them as Owner: it's Admin plus billing. The account creator can never be demoted or removed.

Switching accounts#

If you belong to several accounts you'll pick one at sign-in, and can change it anytime from Switch account in the account menu (bottom-left). Each account shows its store name.

Picking one reloads Sendcore into that account: you'll see Opening workspace… and then land on its Home. That is deliberate: the whole app moves, so everything you open next (contacts, campaigns, reports, API keys, the AI assistant) belongs to the account you switched into, with nothing left over from the previous one.

You are always in exactly one account at a time. If you were in the middle of something (an unsaved email, a half-filled form), finish it before switching: the page you were on does not come back, because it belongs to the other account.

Emails about your login#

Sendcore writes to your login address whenever your login needs a confirmation: when you sign up (Confirm your email address for Sendcore), when you ask to reset your password (Reset your Sendcore password), when you request a sign-in link, and when you change your email address. They all come from Sendcore <hello@sendcore.me>, in the language you signed up in.

  • The button opens sendcore.me (partners.sendcore.me for the partner portal), never another site. Under the button the same link is written out: if your mail client greys the button out, copy that link into the address bar.
  • Each link works once and expires after a short while. A confirmation link that has expired lands you on a page that says so and offers Send again: enter your address and a fresh link arrives. The same button is on the sign-in page when it tells you the address is not confirmed yet, and on the Check your inbox page after signing up. For a password link, Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
  • Nothing arrived? Look in spam and mark the message as safe: from then on your mailbox lets our emails through.

Sendcore never asks for your password by email

A message that asks you to type your password, or whose link does not open sendcore.me, is not ours: do not click it and write to hello@sendcore.me.

Delete account#

Open the account menu (bottom-left) → Your account (/dashboard/account). The Delete account card erases your login and all the data of the workspaces nobody else can reach: contacts, campaigns, automations, forms, reports, integrations and uploaded files. Active subscriptions are cancelled first. Your login and workspaces go at once; the customers, orders and storefront activity your store sent follow within a few minutes. It cannot be undone.

If a subscription cannot be cancelled, or your store's data cannot be queued for erasure, the account is not deleted and the page asks you to try again a minute later.

  1. Read Workspaces that will be deleted and Workspaces you will leave to the other members.
  2. If the page lists blockers under Before the account can be deleted, follow Go to the team: remove the other members, or make someone else an Owner, before leaving a shared workspace.
  3. Type your email to confirm, tick I understand the data will be permanently deleted and the subscriptions cancelled. then click Delete permanently.

How we handle data deletion opens the public policy page. Shared workspaces stay for the people who remain; only workspaces nobody else can reach are erased.
