Reports, Overview & Live view
Sendcore ties every open, click and order back to the message that drove it, so you can see what marketing actually earns. Here's where to look.
On this page12 sections
Overview#
The Overview is your home dashboard. Pick a time range (last 7, 30, 90, 365 days, or custom) and see:
- Revenue and orders for the range, plus the slice attributed to Sendcore.
- A daily revenue chart.
- Audience growth: total contacts, subscribers, and new customers within the selected window.
Live view#
Live view is a real-time feed of storefront activity (visits, product views, cart updates, checkouts and orders) as they happen, with the contact when known.
Reports#
Sales#
Revenue over time, split by what Sendcore drove vs. total store sales.
Marketing activity performance splits From Sendcore between Campaigns and Automations. Each order Sendcore drove counts once, in one of the two, so together they make From Sendcore. An order brought in by an automation's email is the automation's. The figures above the chart and the chart itself count the same orders for the period you pick.
Automations is everything your workflows sold in the period, including the workflows deleted since: the total of Reports → Automation for the same days, and of the automations list's Revenue column plus those deleted workflows.
Products#
Top products by units, and how many units were influenced by Sendcore. Filter by date range and export to CSV.
Campaigns#
Open a sent campaign for four tabs: Overview (sent, open rate, click rate, attributed revenue), Ordered products (what was bought in the attributed orders), Link activity (unique clickers per link, bots excluded) and Contact activity (who opened, clicked, bounced or unsubscribed). Opens and clicks are recorded the moment they happen and the counts are refreshed within a minute, so right after a send the overview can trail the latest opens by up to a minute.
In the Overview, Revenue and Placed orders count the same orders: every order attributed to the campaign, whenever it was placed. Each order counts once, even when your store sends it to Sendcore more than once. A new order shows in Placed orders right away and in Revenue usually within a minute.
Revenue per placed order is the revenue divided by the placed orders, and Revenue per message sent is the revenue divided by the messages the campaign sent: the same definition the campaigns overview and the automation reports use. Amounts are in the currency the orders were placed in. All of this works the same for Shopify and WooCommerce stores.
First 24-hour performance#
First 24-hour performance, in a campaign's Overview, shows how the campaign took off: a pair of bars for each hour of its first day, counted from the moment the first email left. Opened counts the people who opened it for the first time in that hour, Clicked the people who clicked one of its links for the first time. Bots and security scanners are left out, as everywhere in the report.
Next to Opened and Clicked are the totals: the people who opened or clicked within the first 24 hours. Open rate and Click rate count everyone, whenever they opened or clicked, so they can be higher. Point at a bar to see which hour it is, in your time zone, and its numbers.
A large campaign takes a few minutes to go out: the hours start with the first email, not the last, so the opens that arrive while it is still sending are counted too. Until the first day is over, the hours still to come are grey and fill in as they pass.
Automation#
Reports → Automation shows what your automations did in a period, all together and workflow by workflow. It opens on Last 30 days; the period menu next to Refresh picks another one, from Last 7 days to All time, or a Custom period….
- Revenue and Sales: the orders your automations brought in during the period. They are the Automations figure of the Sales report for the same days.
- Emails sent, Open rate and Click rate: the emails sent in the period and the opens and clicks that happened in it, bots and security scanners excluded. Revenue per email is the revenue divided by the emails sent.
- The table lists every workflow, most revenue first, with the numbers the automations list shows for the same period; a workflow that did nothing in it shows 0. Click a name to open its report. The sales of workflows deleted since are kept in one row, Deleted workflows.
- Without a connected store there are no orders to count: connect Shopify or WooCommerce to see the revenue.

A workflow's report#
Open a workflow for its report. The Overview tiles are lifetime: Contacts entered, In progress, Completed, Exited, Errors, Emails sent, Opens, Clicks and Revenue. Workflow steps is the funnel per step; Contacts lists who is in, done, exited or in error.
Revenue is every order the workflow brought in since it started, including those of email steps you removed later, so it can be more than the sum of its steps.
Customer breakdown#
Audience → Customer breakdown reads your store's orders and tells you how your customers buy. The top cards cover the last 365 days: Customers (people with at least one order), Orders, Revenue, Average order value (revenue divided by orders), Returning customers (the share with two or more orders) and Days between orders (the average gap for those who ordered more than once: a good delay for a follow-up or a replenishment reminder).
Below, Customer lifecycle splits everyone who ever ordered by how long ago the last order was:
- Recent customer: last order within the last 30 days.
- Active customer: last order between 30 and 90 days ago.
- Lapsing customer: last order between 90 and 365 days ago, the moment for a win-back.
- Lapsed customer: last order more than 365 days ago.
- Lead: contacts of the store who never ordered.
Each row shows how many customers are in the stage and its share of your buyers; Create segment opens the segment editor on that exact rule (see Lifecycle segments), so a win-back campaign to the lapsing customers is two clicks away. The same stage is shown as Lifecycle stage on every contact's page.
Where the numbers come from
Sales attribution#
When a contact opens or clicks a Sendcore email and then orders within the attribution window, that order's revenue is credited to the campaign or automation (last-click). That is the “from Sendcore” figure on Overview, Sales, campaign reports and automation reports.
You set the rule once per store, under Settings → Store information → Sales attribution:
- What counts: Opens and clicks (the default) or Clicks only. Opens do not count when you pick Clicks only.
- Window: 3, 7 (the default), 14 or 30 days.
- Window starts: When the message is sent (the default) or When the contact opens or clicks.
If the purchase starts straight from a link in one of your messages, that message wins. Only human opens and clicks count: security scanners are excluded. The value is the order total your store reports; refunds are not subtracted. Each order counts once, even when your store sends it to Sendcore more than once.
If a customer's data is erased (a GDPR request through your store), their orders, and the revenue they brought your campaigns and automations, stay in your reports without the customer's name or address. An open or a click on an email sent before the erasure is no longer counted (see When a customer asks to be forgotten).
Click Save. The notice says Settings saved. They apply to orders from now on. Past reports stay as they were until you recalculate.
Recalculate the last 90 days#
Recalculate the last 90 days re-applies the rule to the orders of the last 90 days and refreshes the sales, campaign and automation reports. Use it after a change, or after migrating from another tool, so the last three months follow the same rule.
On a store with a few thousand orders it finishes right away, and the notice says how many orders it recalculated and how many it attributed to one of your messages. On a larger store it carries on in the background: the card shows a bar with the orders recalculated so far, then Orders recalculated. Updating the reports… You can leave the page: it finishes by itself, usually within a few minutes.
- It covers the orders placed up to the moment you click. Orders that arrive meanwhile are attributed as they come in, with your current settings.
- Orders without an email stay as they are: nothing ties them to a contact.
- If you change the settings while it runs, the orders it has not reached yet follow the new rule. Once it is done, recalculate again so all 90 days follow it.
- While it runs the button reads Recalculating… and cannot be clicked again. If it stops before the end, the card says so: try again.
