Signup forms

Forms & lead capture

Signup forms

Forms grow your subscribed audience — a popup or embedded signup that collects an email (and optionally a name, phone or birthday) with proper consent. New sign-ups become contacts and can trigger a welcome automation.

Create a form

  1. Go to Forms and create a new form.
  2. Choose the type and design it — heading, fields, button and styling.
  3. Add the fields you need. Email is required; a date field can capture birthdays for a birthday automation.
  4. Publish. Views and submissions are tracked on the Forms list.

Consent matters

A signup is explicit opt-in — the cleanest way to grow a healthy, deliverable list. Make clear what people are subscribing to.

What happens on submit

  • The person becomes a subscribed contact (de-duplicated by email).
  • Any welcome automation enrolls them.
  • Captured fields (name, phone, birthday, custom values) land on their profile.

Already-subscribed visitors

When someone submits an email that's already subscribed, the form shows a dedicated “already subscribed” step instead of a generic thank-you — and its message is fully customizable in the form designer.

Where forms appear

A popup needs no setup per form: once your store is connected, every published popup shows up on its own — through the theme app embed on Shopify, and through the Sendcore plugin or script on WordPress / WooCommerce.

An embedded form is placed by you, wherever you want it — footer, homepage, contact page, sidebar. Open the form and its Where to place it panel gives you the exact snippet for your platform. On Shopify, add the Sendcore form block from the theme editor; on WordPress, use the Sendcore form block or the [sendcore_form] shortcode.

Beyond forms: the lead-intake API

Collecting leads elsewhere (Meta Lead Ads, a landing page, Zapier)? Forward them into Sendcore with the lead-intake API — same result as a form submission.
